Starting the day with a Baptism and ending my day with a First Communion, and Conformation, this day has truly been filled with family, friends and them drawing closer to our heavenly father. After enjoying some coffee and pastries I sad my goodbyes with my toddler in hand and headed home to await my next photo shoot. My goal for each session is to have everyone felling confident with the photos I have taken.
My next photography session is for my Neighbors. I have had the pleasure to see their girls grow and capture many moments over the last 9 years. So, when they asked me to take photos to remember their youngest daughter, Alyn, was celebrating her first communion I obviously arranged my schedule in order to accommodate them. Sadly, I was unable to capture the actual event earlier in the day, but I was able to get some amazing photos in honor of the event.
There eldest daughter, Mariana, few weeks prior had just celebrated her conformation and was giving a robe in which I captured a few photos of her in. Three years ago I captured Mariana's First Communion. So, being asked to capture Alyn's warmed my heart. I have had the honor to see these girls grow and I am so proud of what they have accomplished and being able to capture the big moments is an amazing feeling.
These photos are more artistic. They are meant to capture the mood of the day rather than the actual event. This style tends to be very pose oriented and are best for an older audience that can sit still for more than 30 seconds. Going into these shoots its best that the client establish their sense of style to the photographer and inspiration photos are encouraged. The more ideas you send to the photographer the better we can carry out your wishes. Keep in mind no two photos will ever come out the same and every photographer will put their own stamp on their photos. These sessions I typically include colored and black and white photos, and I like to great creative, so ill go even further and different effects.
